Professional CE Mark Testing & Compliance Solutions for Electrical, Electronic & Wireless Products

SUNREN Telecom Laboratory - A Division of Sunren Technical Solutions Pvt. Ltd.

ISO/IEC 17025:2017 – NABL Accredited (TC-7995) | TEC Certified | ILAC Standards Compliant

Why CE Marking Matters

CE marking is mandatory for placing most electrical, electronic, and radio equipment on the European Union market. Without it, your product cannot be legally sold in the EU. The CE mark demonstrates compliance with EU safety, electromagnetic compatibility (EMC), and radio spectrum regulations, which enables free movement of goods across all EU member states.

It's important to understand that CE conformity marking is the manufacturer's declaration of compliance. SUNREN supports manufacturers by providing the technical evidence, accredited testing, and expert compliance guidance you need for lawful CE certification mark placement.

Benefits of CE Marking

CE marking shows that a product has been evaluated by the manufacturer and meets EU safety, health, and environmental protection requirements. This allows the product to be sold within the countries of the European Economic Area (EEA). The CE certification mark is recognized globally for product safety and protection, which opens up market access on an international scale.

When you implement CE compliance requirements properly, you'll often find that your product becomes safer and more reliable. This reduces the risk of product failure, potential liability issues, and customer dissatisfaction. CE mark compliance also shows distributors, retailers, and end-users that you're committed to quality and regulatory adherence.

EU Directives We Support

Based on our accredited capabilities and technical expertise, we support CE compliance with:

Low Voltage Directive (LVD) – 2014/35/EU

This covers electrical safety testing for products operating within specified voltage limits. We test for protection against electric shock, energy hazards, and thermal risks.

EMC Directive – 2014/30/EU

Electromagnetic compatibility testing covers both emissions and immunity requirements. This prevents your product from interfering with other equipment and ensures it can operate in its intended electromagnetic environment.

Radio Equipment Directive (RED) – 2014/53/EU

We provide comprehensive testing for wireless and RF products, covering radio spectrum usage, EMC performance, and safety requirements.

In-House NABL Accredited Test Capabilities

1. Electrical Safety Testing (LVD & RED – Safety)

We are NABL-accredited for extensive safety testing that covers:

• EN/IEC 62368-1 for Audio/Video, Information and Communication Technology equipment

• IEC 60065 / IEC 60950-1 for legacy standard support

• Protection against electric shock and energy hazards

• Insulation resistance, dielectric strength & earth continuity

• Temperature rise and thermal safety evaluation

• Mechanical strength, stability & impact resistance

• Product marking, instructions and built-in safeguards

All our testing is aligned to EU harmonised safety standards for CE mark compliance.

2. EMC Testing (EMC Directive & RED – EMC)

Conducted Emissions:

We test to CISPR 32 / EN 55032 for both Class A and Class B limits.

Immunity Tests:

• Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) – IEC 61000-4-2

• Electrical Fast Transient/Burst (EFT) – IEC 61000-4-4

• Surge Immunity – IEC 61000-4-5

Where radiated emission and immunity tests fall outside our in-house scope, we arrange testing through ISO/IEC 17025 accredited associate laboratories with full coordination by SUNREN.

3. RF & Radio Testing (RED Directive)

Our NABL-accredited RF testing is aligned with ETSI standards including:

• ETSI EN 300 328 for 2.4 GHz Short Range Devices, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth

• ETSI EN 301 893 for 5 GHz Radio Local Area Networks

• ETSI EN 300 220 / 330 / 440 for various frequency bands

We measure:

• Output power and occupied bandwidth

• Spurious emissions and harmonic content

• Duty cycle, Dynamic Frequency Selection (DFS), and adaptivity

• Spectrum access and channel utilization

• Receiver sensitivity and blocking characteristics

This gives us strong coverage for IoT devices, short-range devices, wireless communication products, and telecommunication equipment.

4. Environmental & IP Testing (Supporting Evidence)

We also provide:

• Temperature and humidity conditioning per IEC 60068 series

• Mechanical drop, topple and fall tests

• Ingress Protection testing (IPX1–IPX7) per IEC 60529

These tests provide supporting evidence for your risk assessment and technical documentation requirements.

Outsourced Testing – Transparent & Accredited

Where specific EMC or RF tests fall outside our in-house scope, we work with ISO/IEC 17025 accredited associate laboratories. SUNREN manages the complete planning, coordination and technical review, so you still get comprehensive, CE-ready test evidence with a single point of contact throughout the project.

CE Technical Documentation Support

We help manufacturers prepare the compliance documentation they need:

• Identifying which EU Directives and harmonised standards apply to your product

• Mapping the relevant EN standards for your specific product category

• Guidance on Technical File structure per Annex II / III requirements

• Reviewing and validating your test reports, risk assessments, user manuals, and product labeling

• Preparing your Declaration of Conformity (DoC)

The final responsibility and signature for the Declaration of Conformity stays with you as the manufacturer, as required by EU law.

Typical CE Compliance Flow

1. Product Assessment – We identify which EU Directives and essential requirements apply to your product.

2. Standard Identification – We determine the relevant EN harmonised standards applicable to your product category.

3. Pre-Compliance Review – An optional preliminary assessment to identify potential compliance gaps before formal testing.

4. Testing Phase – Safety, EMC, RF, and environmental testing is conducted as applicable.

5. Report Consolidation – Compilation of CE-ready test reports and supporting technical evidence.

6. Technical Documentation – Preparation and review of the Technical File, risk assessments, manuals, and labeling.

7. Manufacturer’s Declaration – You issue the Declaration of Conformity (DoC) as the legal manufacturer.

8. Market Placement – Your product is ready for legal placement on the EU market.
